Product Feature: Diesel Tachometer Amps and More
While not as essential as monitoring coolant temperature or oil pressure, keeping an eye on your RPMs provides valuable information about your engine and transmission. It's also just a simply a more satisfying driving experience when all the gauges in your instrument cluster are running as they should!
If your '80s or '90s diesel is having tachometer troubles, we have all the parts you'll need to trouble shoot and hopefully fix that problem!
We just tested a batch of these and put the good ones in stock. These are no longer available new from Mercedes-Benz.
Tachometer Amplifier Base Plug
Sometimes your amp is working fine, but the base plug connections are fried. You can purchase a base plug here. Please note it will need to be spliced/soldered into your wiring harness.
The wire that goes from TDC on the crank pulley to the tach amp base plug is available new, genuine Mercedes-Benz
If your tachometer gauge itself is malfunctioning, we have a few used units available. If you don't see what you need, please contact us and we will do our best to find it for you!
