Over the years it's been getting harder and harder to come across any OM617 turbodiesel motors with less than even 200k miles. Most of them have been snatched up for engine swaps, or the cars have *gasp* been crushed. Every once in a while we are able to offer an engine with less than 160k miles and it feels like an accomplishment, but this Mercedes OM617 turbo diesel engine with only 106k is quite a find! I think this is the second lowest-mileage engine that we've offered for sale in the last seven years. We don't expect it to last very long, as it's an excellent option for a more affordable engine replacement or conversion.
If you're in need of a shop to do the swap, we'd be happy to take it on. While we are usually backed up for months, we have a momentary slowdown at our shop in Oregon and could have your vehicle in and out with this low-mileage engine much quicker than usual.
