Cars In the Shop: 1964 230SL
Posted by Z on Jan 14th 2021
This week we are featuring a car that we had the pleasure of working on in our repair shop.
This 1964 230SL had been sitting for a some time in need of a trustworthy and knowledgeable mechanic to replace the clutch and diagnose some fuel delivery issues. Fortunately for Gary, we were happy to welcome "Little Miss Mercedes" to our repair shop and get her back to enjoying wandering the winding roads of southern Oregon. This car has not been fully restored, and is perfect for regular pleasure driving.
I personally appreciate the look of the small early-style hubcaps with the trim rings on this car, as well as the contrasting colors of interior and exterior. Make sure to notice the original Oregon plates with the stamped month and the optional transverse rear jump seat!
Is owning a full-size W113 a little out of your price range?
We have a few limited-edition 230SL model cars available in stock.
