This has been a long year for us at MBZ Parts, and for me in particular as Founder and CEO. I started this year with an outline for our plan for expansion, and then took in additional owners for the first time since launching the company 9 years ago. We then dove into figuring out how to pack and move the massive collection of rare inventory we purchased last year.
Of course, we needed to make sure we had somewhere to put it all, so I incorporated the business in California and leased a 12,000sf warehouse in San Bernardino, which will become our new headquarters once operational. After that, our packing team prepared and shipped over 25 semi-truckloads of parts, a truly massive endeavor. Seeing those parts in our new warehouse is incredible, and I'm thrilled when I think about the number of Classic Mercedes we'll be helping to keep on the road.

All of that is only the beginning, the foundation we'll be building upon to ensure a lasting future for these cars. Lately, I've been able to connect with more of the folks who are dedicating their lives to restoring vintage Benzes and helping to nourish the culture that reminds all of us who love these cars that we're a part of something bigger. These connections are really important; they remind us of our own passions and they help us through our struggles.
