Here at MBZ Parts, we have a special fondness for the W116 chassis. A 1979 300SD was the company founder's first Mercedes-Benz and several of our former and current employees are proud owners of their W116s. If you've spent any time around the first official S-Class chassis, you may have noticed a stark difference between models produced for the North American market compared to models produced for European and Japanese markets.

While the large US-spec bumpers provide extra protection (and a knee pad while you're working in your engine bay), if you're not daily driving your Benz in stop and go traffic, you might want to opt for the Euro style bumpers for a more modest look.

We were lucky enough that one pair of European-spec bumpers were included in our large inventory acquisition, and we are pleased to be able to offer them to you!
