Vehicle History
This classic German coupe has had only 3 owners in its lifetime! Current owner is the third owner. The second owner restored this car in 2014. This is a Hemmings Car Show Winner in 2016, Editor's Choice.
 
Mechanical Condition
The OM617.952 turbo diesel engine has undergone repairs including a new timing chain, new oil cooler lines and hoses. Recently replaced the climate control unit, and serviced the A/C system which functions and runs on R134 refrigerant. Engine does not produce excessive smoke or have any known problems or needs. The 722.315 four speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly. This is a very reliable show car. Extensive service records and receipts are included with the vehicle.

Body Condition
Incredibly straight body, solid all around, perfect chrome and bright work. Perfect Astral Silver (735) paint with pin stripes. Has small amounts of light rust. No rust under the battery tray. Undercarriage is in great condition. This 300CD is a survivor that has been garage kept and well cared for all of its life. In the past 10 years, it has only driven to car shows!

Interior Condition
Interior is original blue MB Tex (152). The dashboard is smooth and has no cracks. Wood trim is in excellent condition, door panels are also in excellent condition with no heat droop. Headliner is in excellent condition and the electric sun roof works beautifully with no issues. Carpets are original and in great condition— including the optional overlay mats. The original Becker stereo may or may not function. This is a non-smoker car.

Additional Notes
This coupe comes with its original dealer sale literature and the original first aid kit. It also has a good spare tire and emergency tire jack, as well as repair manuals and other special order repair books.
