Mechanical Condition

Engine, Automatic Transmission and Differential run extremely well. Instant start, solid shifts.

COMPLETE NEW SYSTEMS last 5,000 Miles:
Suspension, steering, brakes (including new springs, slotted, drilled disks and all hydraulics).
A/C system (Sanden conversion, ru138 condenser, evaporator). New Auxiliary fan.
Motor, transmission, and differential mounts, plus engine shocks. New shifter bushings.
Hoses/belts, alternator; water pump; thermostat;
Exhaust system.
3-2 valve and plastic transmission regulators;
Glow plugs and injectors; vacuum pump
Timing chain and guides; valve stem seals.
New CV Joints and Wheel Bearings
Four new tires.

REBUILT:
Turbocharger
Fuel Injection Pump,
Drive shaft U joint and new flex joints.

Body Condition

Straight, rust free. Paint is OK for nice daily driver, some scratches, rub through. Needs new side trim. All new window, door and sun roof seals. All windows & sun roof work well. New HVAC vacuum motors. Rebuilt cruise and HVAC electrical modules. All gauges and clock work well. New ignition switch.

Interior Condition

NEW GENUINE leather seats, carpet, dash cover, carpeted trunk. Headliner & door panels excellent. Upgraded steering wheel and shifter (see pictures). Rebuilt seat springs.

Additional Notes

Rebuilt 1984 SL 500 Steering Box (faster), 2.88 differential (speedometer needs recalibration). Bilstein, Lemforder and Febi parts. URO only when no alternative. This car runs and handles like a dream.
